Workshop by Eva Alberti and Jenna Berlyn

Find strength, stability and ease moving in and out of the floor. Work on coordination, pathways and awareness. We will explore movement languages such as Animal Flow, contemporary dance, floor work and partnering over three hours. Taught at an open level, the workshop is suitable for movers from various backgrounds such as dance, circus, acro, yoga and more. The class will contain set movements, improvisation and short choreographed phrases.
About the instructors
Eva Alberti is an Italian movement artist and teacher. Eva experienced many different dance backgrounds and eventually studied in a professional program at ‘Accademia Kataklo’ in Milano. She grew up close to art with an artistic mind, passionate about the fine arts and multimedias. Besides the dance projects she worked for, Eva got closer to other disciplines such as yoga, pilates and Animal Flow, becoming a freelance certified instructor. Today, Eva develops her teaching method inspired by her different backgrounds, collaborates with visual artists, and works on the creation of various dance projects.
Jenna Berlyn is a Canadian dance artist based in Berlin since 2022. She is driven by a desire to create, explore and build community as a dancer, teacher and choreographer. Jenna is a co-founder and performer of the collective SLEX ART, which creates interdisciplinary performances, events, installations and media. She has taught contemporary dance and floorwork classes in Canada, Germany and Latvia, and loves sharing the joy of dance and movement to a diverse range of students and levels.
