Teaching Bio
Jenna has taught contemporary dance, floorwork, improvisation and ballet to children, beginner adults, pre-professional and professional dancers. Her contemporary classes involve a warm up, improvisation, strength and conditioning, technique and combinations or repertoire. She enjoys teaching and loves the energy in the room when her students are invested in the material. She focuses on acrobatic movements and floor work with a smooth quality, while developing awareness of the body and space. Jenna values curiosity and acceptance in her classes, and fosters a space of respect, tolerance and inclusivity among her students. She looks forward to expanding her teaching portfolio, especially to work more with beginner adult, pre-professional and professional contemporary dancers across Europe and Canada.
